1. Equipment Overview
This is a 1.0-6.0×1650mm heavy-duty wide-width slitting line, model Y2026M08STL30L, provided by Keepwin Industry Co., Limited as a used metallurgical total solution provider. This equipment is not designed for thin-gauge cold-rolled coil slitting, but specifically for high-precision longitudinal slitting of medium-to-heavy plates in the 1.0-6.0mm thickness range (including hot-rolled coils, pickled coils, and medium-thick cold-rolled coils). This is a true heavy-duty heavy-plate slitting line, with structural design, power configuration, and rigidity indicators all specially strengthened around the demanding conditions of heavy-plate slitting.

2. Slitting Shaft System — Ultra-Heavy-Duty Configuration
The slitting shaft has a diameter of Ø280 mm, representing the largest shaft diameter and highest rigidity in this series of equipment. The Ø280mm oversized shaft diameter delivers extremely high bending rigidity and torsional strength, ensuring ultimate blade stability when slitting 6.0mm thick plates or high-strength materials (such as high-strength steel, hot-rolled structural steel, and pressure vessel steel). It effectively suppresses vibration and deflection, thereby guaranteeing slitting width accuracy and edge quality. For heavy-plate slitting, shaft rigidity is the core factor determining finished product quality—sufficient shaft diameter ensures no blade deflection during shearing, preventing width deviation and burr formation. The shaft surface is precision-ground and hardened, offering excellent wear resistance and dimensional accuracy retention.

3. Slitting Main Motor — High-Power Drive
The slitting shaft is driven by a 200 kW main motor. The 200kW high-power configuration provides ample cutting power for 6.0mm thick plates. In heavy-plate slitting, shearing resistance increases non-linearly with thickness—the 200kW high-power configuration ensures that the shaft maintains constant speed and shearing force under maximum thickness and maximum width conditions, preventing blade jamming, breakage, or poor shearing due to insufficient power. The motor adopts DC or AC variable-frequency drive (depending on actual configuration), offering high starting torque, wide speed range, and strong overload capacity, particularly suited to heavy-load starting and stable operation requirements in heavy-plate slitting.

4. Recoiling System — High-Power Configuration
The recoiler is equipped with a 250 kW independent drive motor, representing the highest recoiling power configuration in this series of equipment. The 250kW robust power ensures stable and sufficient recoiling tension under demanding conditions such as 6.0mm thick plates, heavy coil weights, and high-tension recoiling, guaranteeing tight and neatly wound finished coils while preventing interlayer slippage and coil loosening. The recoiler power being greater than the slitting power (250kW vs 200kW) is the typical configuration logic for heavy-plate slitting lines—heavy-plate recoiling requires much higher tension than thin plates, and the recoiler must overcome greater winding torque. The recoiler is equipped with an expandable/retractable drum for easy coil unloading, improving operational efficiency.

5. Thickness Capability — From Thin to Heavy Plate
This equipment covers a thickness range of 1.0-6.0mm. The positioning of this thickness range意味着:

  • The equipment can process hot-rolled coils, pickled coils, and other hot-rolled raw materials—hot-rolled coils are the upstream raw material for cold rolling, and this equipment can directly slit hot-rolled heavy coils;

  • It is applicable to the medium-to-heavy plate sector, including pressure vessel steel, structural steel, wear-resistant steel, and high-strength steel;

  • Downstream applications expand from thin-plate stamping, home appliances, and automotive body panels to heavy structures, engineering machinery, shipbuilding, and pressure vessel manufacturing in the heavy-plate application domain.

6. Width Capability — 1650mm Wide Format
The maximum width of 1650mm enables processing of standard wide hot-rolled/cold-rolled mother coils. For heavy-plate slitting, the combination of 1650mm width and 6.0mm thickness means significantly higher coil weight—imposing higher demands on the recoiler's load capacity, shaft rigidity, and overall line structural strength. The equipment's structural components (housings, bases, gearboxes, etc.) are all specially reinforced to withstand the enormous loads of heavy-plate slitting.
