- This 1650 wide-format longitudinal slitting line serves as the core complete processing equipment for deep processing of metal coils. The entire production line features a continuous and integrated workflow, which can independently complete the full automatic processing flow from uncoiling raw metal coils, flattening uneven plate surfaces, slitting strips to specified widths, and recoiling finished strips without purchasing any extra auxiliary standalone machines. It supports a wide range of mainstream metal raw materials, such as cold rolled carbon steel sheets, hot-dip galvanized steel strips, stainless steel coils and color coated coils. The equipment is widely adopted in multiple downstream manufacturing sectors, including hardware fabrication, pipe production, steel structure processing, home appliance sheet metal manufacturing and packaging steel strip production.
- This slitting line is a full set of second-hand metallurgical processing machinery retaining all original factory structural components without missing parts. It comes with complete original supporting accessories, including slitting cutter sets, positioning spacers and mechanical support arms. The whole machine has gone through comprehensive overhauls, calibration of worn components, full inspection and debugging of oil circuits and electrical circuits, so it maintains stable working performance. After arriving at the workshop and connecting water and power supplies, the machine can be directly put into mass production, saving the long waiting period for customization, on-site installation and complicated commissioning required for brand-new equipment.
(2) Full DC Power Drive System Configuration Details
- Every functional unit across the whole production line is powered by DC motors. DC motors feature large output torque, linear and stable speed regulation performance, and smooth operation without stalling under low-speed heavy load conditions. Operators can adjust the running speed flexibly according to different plate thicknesses and target slitting widths; there will be no mechanical impact or violent vibration during switching between high and low speeds, making the machine suitable for two distinct processing modes: precision slitting of ultra-thin sheets and heavy-load slitting of thick metal strips. The motor power of each working station is professionally matched by the original manufacturer, realizing balanced power distribution. The machine can run continuously for long hours without triggering motor overload protection or shutdown caused by overheating.
- The slitting main shaft at the core cutting station is equipped with a 75kW high-power DC motor, which delivers sufficient shear torque to cut through steel strips steadily. Matched with a solid thickened slitting main shaft of Ø220mm, the shaft has thick wall and outstanding integral rigidity. Its radial runout is kept to a minimum during high-speed operation, which effectively avoids common quality defects such as inconsistent slitting width and rough burrs generated by shaft deformation, ensuring uniform width dimension and controllable tolerance of every finished steel strip.
- The front-end uncoiling unit is driven by a 22kW DC motor, which can steadily support heavy raw material coils and release metal strips at a constant speed to prevent coil loosening, slipping and lateral deviation during feeding. The rear recoiling unit adopts a 110kW high-power DC motor with a wide adjustable tension range. When winding multi-layer slitted strips, it can maintain uniform tightening force to avoid uneven coil end faces, loose winding and collapsed finished coils. The middle pinch roller is powered by a 15kW DC motor, which undertakes plate traction, positioning and flattening work, continuously correcting feeding deviation and guaranteeing straight and smooth material conveying throughout the whole line.
(3) Processing Performance & Production Advantages
- The maximum designed running speed of this equipment reaches 200 meters per minute, nearly doubling the production efficiency compared with conventional low-speed slitting equipment whose operating speed ranges from 80 to 120 m/min. It is perfectly fit for mass, standardized continuous coil processing, which greatly shortens the processing cycle of a single coil and cuts down unit production costs covering labor, power consumption and other overheads, meeting the large-scale continuous production demands of medium and large processing factories.
- The machine is equipped with complete supporting slitting cutter discs, wear-resistant spacing sleeves and positioning gaskets as standard accessories. Operators can freely assemble and replace cutter groups with different inner and outer diameters according to customized order requirements to produce narrow strips of various widths flexibly. (4) Overall Mechanical Structure & Supporting Spare Parts
- The main machine frame is integrally welded with thick carbon steel plates, and stress relief treatment is carried out after welding to prevent permanent deformation under long-term heavy load operation. The entire equipment is coated with green industrial anti-rust topcoat, which delivers strong resistance to corrosion and oil contamination. Thickened reinforcing ribs are added on all stress-bearing support beams and connecting bases, greatly improving the load-bearing capacity and anti-impact performance of the whole machine. Multiple groups of orange hydraulic mechanical swing arms and pressing lifting mechanisms are matched on the line, which automatically complete plate lifting, limiting and unloading operations, reducing manual auxiliary work and improving overall production safety.
